Dear Lord,
I give myself anew to You today. Thank You for Your blood, Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins. Thank You for everything You are doing and everything You have done. Lord today I exchange:
my weariness for Your strength
my weakness for Your power
my darkness for Your light
my problems for Your solutions
my burdens for Your freedom
my frustrations for Your peace
my turmoil, anxiety, and panic for Your calm
my hopes for Your promises and plans
my afflictions for Your balm of comfort
my questions for Your answers
my confusion for Your knowledge
my doubt for Your assurance
my nothingness for Your awesomeness
my anger for Your forgiveness
my sadness for Your joy
my pain for Your healing
my thoughts for Your voice
Satan's lies for Your truth and love
the temporal for the eternal
the impossible for the possible
my impatience for Your patience
my shortcomings for Your love
living my soul life for dying to my soul life and accepting Your life
my burdens for your yoke
everything of me for all You have to offer, even my good qualities I exchange for Your perfect ones.

"Pray for more Christ" is the gentle instruction God gives me when I cry out to Him. I journeyed into a consistent prayer life at the age of 30. While reading a book by Elizabeth George, I was urged to begin a simple prayer journal. Sure enough my prayers were faithfully answered. Three years later, God called me to be a prayer warrior. Through His grace and Word and various books, I have been called out to start this prayer blog. May these prayers bless you as they have me.
