Prayer for spiritual growth for husband by seeking God

Pray that your husband will grow spiritually and consider his accountability before the Lord. Pray that he will guard his heart by developing spiritual disciplines—Bible reading and study, prayer, meditation, scripture memorization, etc.

Daily prayer for husband

Dear Lord,

I raise [name husband] to you today. May Your will be done in his life today. May he have a strong commitment for You, a strong desire and a heart for You. Lord give him a strong conscience so he may love righteousness and hate wickedness. May he be serious about following You. May he read Your Word every day, pray every morning, and pray with me every day. May [name husband] lead us in Your heavenly way and take responsibility for this family.

In Jesus' precious name I pray, Amen.

Prayer to rebuke all the powers of Jezebel out of your life and church

"Father, I loose tribulation against the kingdom of Jezebel. I rebuke and tear down her strongholds, and in the name of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit I destroy her witchcraft. I rebuke all spirits of false prophecy, idolatry, and perversion connected with Jezebel. I cut off the assignment of Jezebel against the ministers of God. No longer will she be allowed to cast spells or influence me or my family to practice idolatry. I will love You wholly, serve You with all the works of my hand, live faithfully according to the instructions of Your Word to me, and hold fast to You until You return. Greater is the power of Your Holy Spirit within me than the evil power of Jezebel upon me."

The Resolution (for men)

THE RESOLUTION

I DO solemnly resolve before God to take full responsibility for myself, my wife, and my children.

I WILL love them, protect them, serve them, and teach them the Word of God as the spiritual leader of my home.

I WILL be faithful to my wife, to love and honor her, and be willing to lay down my life for her as Jesus Christ did for me.

I WILL bless my children and teach them to love God with all of their hearts, all of their minds, and all of their strength.

I WILL train them to honor authority and live responsibly.

I WILL confront evil, pursue justice, and love mercy.

I WILL pray for others and treat them with kindness, respect, and compassion.

I WILL work diligently to provide for the needs of my family.

I WILL forgive those who have wronged me and reconcile with those I have wronged.

I WILL learn from my mistakes, repent of my sins, and walk with integrity as a man answerable to God.

I WILL seek to honor God, be faithful to His church, obey His Word, and do His will.

I WILL courageously work with the strength God provides to fulfill this resolution for the rest of my life and for His glory.

I do solemnly resolve before God to embrace my current season of life and live with a spirit of contentment. 

I Will champion God's model for womanhood and teach it to my children. 

I Will celebrate my God-given uniqueness and the distinctions He has placed in others. 

I Will live as a woman answerable to God and faithfully committed to His Word. 

I Will seek to devote the best of myself to the primary roles God has entrusted to me. 

I Will be quick to listen, slow to speak, and esteem others more highly than myself. 

I Will forgive those who have wronged me and reconcile with those I have wronged. 

I Will not tolerate evil influences in myself or my home but will embrace a life of purity.

Prayer to submit our parenting inadequacies to God

Lord,

You know our inadequacies. You know our weaknesses, not only in parenting, but in every area of our lives. We are doing the best we can and we know it is not good enough. As You broke the fishes and the loaves, now take our meager efforts and use them to bless our family. Make up for the things we do wrong. Satisfy the needs that we have not satisfied. Wrap Your great arms around our children, and draw them close to You. And be there when they stand at the great crossroads between right and wrong. We humbly submit to You our children and ourselves and the job we are dong as parents.
