Prayer to be a patient and loving mom

Dear Lord,

I repent for my impatience and provoking regarding the kids. You know my need right now. Lord, I need more of You. I need more of Your perfect patience and love. Thank You for my children. This is the area I need the most patience in - parenting. Lord, thank You for the following verses on patience that I'd like to memorize and use in this great time of need. Lord, write these words into my heart. Lord, change me from the inside out. Thank You for Your patience and love and that I can receive from You, into my spirit, what I need to change my ways and meet the needs of my children in a righteous way.

In Jesus' precious name I pray, Amen.

Proverbs 19:11
A man's wisdom gives him patience. It is to his glory to overlook an offense.

Proverbs 15:18
A hot-tempered man stirs up dissension, but a patient man calms a quarrel.

1 Corinthians 13:4
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always preserves. Love never fails.

Romans 12:12
Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer.

Ephesians 4:2
Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.

Ephesians 4:26
In your anger do not sin. Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry.

Galatians 5:22-26
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. Since we live by the spirit, let us keep in step with the spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.

Colossians 3:12-14
Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patienceBear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.

1 Thessalonians 5:14-22
And we urge you, brothers and sisters, warn those who are idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the weak, be patient with everyoneMake sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else. Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not quench the Spirit. Do not treat prophecies with contempt but test them all; hold on to what is good, reject every kind of evil.
