Prayer to bring our children to the feet of Jesus

Lord,

Give us wisdom to raise the precious children whom You have loaned to us, and above all else, help us bring them to the feet of Jesus. This is more important to us than our health or our work or our finances. What we ask most fervently is that the circle be unbroken when we meet in heaven.

In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

Daily prayer for child (unsaved)

Dear Lord,

I raise [name child] to You today. May Your will be done in [his or her] life today. Lord thank You for giving [him or her] to us. Help us raise [him or her] in You and in Your love. Lord, You even raise [him or her] through us. Lord, we believe You want [name child] Presley to be Your child. We pray according to John 3:16-17 that [s/he] my believe that You loved the world so much that You sent Your only son, Jesus, to save the world. May [s/he] believe and confess with [his or her] mouth so that You will live in [his or her] heart and [s/he] will have everlasting life. Lord, may the circle be unbroken.

We pray this in Jesus' name, Amen.

Dear Lord,

I raise [name child] to you today. May Your will be done in [his or her] life today. Lord thank You for giving [him or her] to us. Help us raise [him or her] in You and in Your love. Lord, You even raise [him or her] through us. Thank You for [his or her] prayer on [name date]. Lord, we believe You live in [his or her] heart. We pray that [s/he] longs to know You more and more everyday. We pray according to Ephesians 3:14-19 that out of Your riches You may strengthen [name child] with power through Your spirit into [his or her] inner being, so that Christ may dwell in [his or her] heart through faith. We pray that [s/he] be rooted and grounded in love and [s/he] would grasp how wide and long and high and deep Your love is. We pray [name child] would know that Your love surpasses all understanding and that [s/he] be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

We pray this in Jesus' name, Amen.

Prayer for child's eternal future (saved)

Dear Lord,

I bring [name child] before You and ask that You would help [him or her] grow into a deep understanding of who You are. We believe [s/he] asked You into [his or her] little heart on [name date] at the age of [name age]. Lord, continue to open [his or her] heart and bring [him or her] to a full knowledge of the truth about You. May [name child] be filled with Your Holy Spirit, acknowledge You in every area of [his or her] life, and choose always to follow You and Your ways. Help [him or her] to fully believe that Jesus laid down His life for [him or her] so that [s/he] might have life eternally and abundantly now. Help [him or her] to comprehend the fullness of Your forgiveness so that [s/he] will not live in guilt and condemnation.

I pray that [s/he] will live a fruitful life, ever increasing in the knowledge of You. May [s/he] always know Your will, have spiritual understanding, and walk in a manner that is pleasing in Your sight. You say in Your word that You will pour out Your spirit on my offspring (Isaiah 44:3). I pray that You would pour out Your spirit upon [name child] this day.

Thank you, Lord, that You care about [his or her] eternal future even more than I do and that it is secure in You. In Jesus' name I pray that [name child] will not doubt or stray form the path You have for [his or her] all the days of [his or her] life. Amen.

Prayer for child's eternal future (unsaved)

Dear Lord,

I bring [name child] before You and ask that You would help [him or her] grow into a deep understanding of who You are. Open [his or her] heart and bring [him or her] to a full knowledge of the truth about You. Lord, You say in Your word, "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9). I pray for that kind of faith for [name child]. May [s/he] call You [his or her] Savior, be filled with Your Holy Spirit, acknowledge You in every area of [his or her] life, and choose always to follow You and Your ways. Help [him or her] to fully believe that Jesus laid down His life for [him or her] so that [s/he] might have life eternally and abundantly now. Prayer to guard my mouth

Dear Lord,

I give my words to You today. Help me guard my words. I pray according to Psalm 141:3 that pleads for a guard over my mouth. O Lord, keep watch over the door of my lips. I want to build people up and not tear them down. Especially guard me when dealing with the kids. Lord, I do not want to take my frustrations out on them. I want to love them. I pray according to Ephesians 4:15-16 that I want to speak the truth in love and grow up into him who is the Head (Christ). From Him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work. May my children see Christ's love through my words and actions.

In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

Supporting scripture:
Proverbs 13:3
He who guards his lips guards his life, but he who speaks rashly will come to ruin.

Prayer for husband to put on the full armor of God

Dear Lord,

I intercede for my husband. Lord I pray that [he] put on the full armor of God. I pray according to Ephesians 10-18 which says "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore may [name husband] put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, [he] may be able to stand [his] ground, and after [he] have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around [his] waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with [his] feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which [he] can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people."

Lord, I pray You teach [name husband] how to do this. May [he] desire to fight for You every day. May Your will to be done in [his] life, no matter what the cost. Make [him] wholly thine.

In Jesus' precious name I pray, Amen.
